CBS News said Tuesday that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has declined to participate in an interview with “60 Minutes” for its election special, which will go forward next Monday with Democratic opponent Kamala Harris alone.

Television’s top-rated news program regularly invites the two presidential contenders for separate interviews that air back-to-back on a show near the election. This year, it is scheduled for Monday instead of its usual Sunday time slot.

Asked for comment, the former president’s campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said, “Fake news,” adding that there were discussions but nothing was ever locked in.

Lol. The orange asshole wouldn’t get within a mile of 60 Minutes because he knows he’d be shredded to bits.

I’m concerned about this new strategy of keeping Trump under wraps. He is his own worst enemy, and now instead of hearing it straight from the horses mouth, they’re keeping him sheltered and filtered through only the most loyal media outlets. Leaving his mob to use their imagination, which will be exactly what they wish to see and hear. It’s shrewd in an idiotic way. I can only hope that Trunp will become impatient with being handled and show his true colors at least a few nore times.

I’m concerned about how, whether Trump participates and makes a fool of himself or drops out like the coward he is, the headlines will still all be about Trump. This is exactly the media approach that got him elected first time.

If the dem party keeps up the replaying of his stupid shit over and over they can keep that on folks’ minds. Not the best but it always works for the republicans.

    Ha, called it.

    Calling it now:

Since there’s not enough time left for him to recover from this brutal ego bruise, I predict he’ll only do rallies from now on, or appearances on far-right media, because he’ll retreat to his snowglobe for reassurance for a while. He’ll avoid addressing Kamala directly, but he’ll ramp up his own network and rile up his mob. His team will struggle to rein him in, and some appearances might be cancelled.

Nope. I don’t see Trump being adaptable and able to take a pounding. He’s a chicken, without the taste.

Let’s not use that term negatively, because in reality, they’re a LOT tougher than you think.

For the uninitiated (and those commenting on my use of a perfectly valid term): Pussy (/ˈpʊsi/) is an English noun, adjective, and—in rare instances—verb. It has several meanings, as slang, as euphemism, and as vulgarity. Most commonly, it is used as a noun with the meaning “cat”, “coward”, or “weakling”. - Wikipedia

Why would he. He’s probably suffering PTSD from his last failed attempt to stand and be counted amongst human beings.

He can only appear intelligent and competent at his own rallies where everyone’s knuckles drag equally along the ground.

So he doesn’t want to be interviewed because it would contribute fake news? I mean he’s not wrong.

Maybe this is noteworthy? I don’t know, I think trump is pathetic for an endless list of reasons, but at the same time I think that something that isn’t happening is literally the opposite of news.

Like, if the election came and went, and trump never did this interview with 60 minutes, who would have noticed, especially amongst his whole circus?
