The sad truth is that this is exactly the answer. Rich people have more power by virtue of being rich.

No, clowns are funny.
The one part that’s a little bit messed up is that most people driving the cyber truck right now ordered it way back before Musk started his election interference and turning Twitter into a 4Chan styled financial black hole.
It’s easy to forget that, in the public eye, Musk once stood for eliminating petroleum dependence and science-based futurism. What a sad turn when the mask came fully off.
I honestly don’t understand how he’s so popular even among Republicans. He’s a coward and the worst kind of political opportunist who is more concerned with his own image than helping Texans.
I’m doing everything that I can to get out the vote in Texas and encouraging people to vote early. With the gerrymandered districts here it’s tough to make a real change, but when it comes to the Senate every vote counts.
Absolutely, I’m in Texas, which is considered a slam dunk for the GOP. I still voted for Allred and for Harris. If there’s a chance to get rid of Ted Cruz, I’m not going to risk it.
And of course, flipping Texas Blue in the presidential election would be a major coup. It’s unlikely, but not impossible, if the voter turnout is high enough.
Truth Out is notoriously low quality journalism that routinely, distorts the facts, or misrepresents them. This article is yet another example.
If the defense of a new source is, “but they barely distorted the facts,” do you really need further clarification?
Truth-Out notorious for this kind of thing.
I should have been a farmer.
It is really scary how close the race is and how far he is in the lead with a lot of polls.
People out here talking about sitting this one out or throwing a protest vote out for a third party. I’m just shaking my head.
Gee, why would that be necessary? I’m sure no one he would tap would have recently been involved in any insurrections or under the employ of a foreign government.
Absolute lowest quality journalism allowed on this website. Of course, people are happy to post it repeatedly as long as it conforms with their worldview.
That’s not even true. It’s a publicly traded company which means it’s owned by the shareholders. Over 90% of those shares are held by financial institutions, meaning diversified investors.
I don’t know how you could believe such a bald faced lie, and if you don’t believe it then that’s even worse.
This new tack that Harris is bad for Black people is as transparent as it is far fetched.
As the California AG, she piloted programs that provided educational resources to both released prisoners, as well as at risk kids beginning in elementary schools.
Those programs reduced truancy and improved outcomes for at risk individuals and families, who were disproportionately black. They have since become national models of social harm reduction.
Harris supports legalization of marijuana and releasing non violent drug offenders, again disproportionately benefiting black Americans.

I’m not really sure what the New York Times has to do with this. WaPo is owned by a billionaire trying to hedge his bets if Trump wins and decides to take vengeance by breaking up Amazon.
NYT is fully independent.
Thanks, fixed.
But it is run by Hamas, just so we are clear.
But the current outage is different. It was sparked by a breakdown at one of the country’s aging electrical stations and has affected every facet of life for ordinary people: They cannot cool or light their homes, food is spoiling in refrigerators, they cannot cook, and many can’t access water to drink or wash.
Just a reminder that this is how election interference starts. One party arbitrarily accuses the other of election interference, then that party’s adherents decide to interfere with the election to “even things out.” Finally, the party that was falsely accused feels the need to interfere, thus proving the original false accusation. Soon the entire election integrity is undermined.
Only fascists and rival nations benefit from mistrust in democracy.
