      Water, I think? I think the hydrogen is less of an issue than the hydrogen fuel cell though.

      Only 10 more years to go!

        Unless we improve the efficiency of both electrolysis and fuel cell conversion to about 98%, we won’t beat the batteries.

        Natural gas, primarily.

        Obtaining hydrogen from water is much more energy-demanding, and the efficiency of the entire water cycle (water electrolysis, hydrogen transportation, electrical conversion) is extremely low compared to just charging batteries.
