    They absolutely can stop him from speaking on the floor. But true, they can’t stop him from voting- with Republicans. Which is one of the reasons to force him out.

      As someone else pointed out, he doesn’t even need to be impeached, the senate can vote to expel him with a 2/3rds vote. So why aren’t they voting if they feel so upset about it? There’s an established process to kick him out so if they want to set the precedent of kicking someone out based only on accusations before the trial resolves they should do it.

        Because Schumer needs to initiate that and he seems to be the only one who doesn’t want Menendez to resign. I don’t think you know how the Senate works.

          I know “Asking someone to resign” is bullshit and not anywhere in constitution, or parliamentary procedure of the senate.

              He caved, he didn’t have to, and he shouldn’t have. Rep George Santos is still there, all he had to do was ignore the resignation calls. Bob needs to do the same.
