minus-squareUlrich@feddit.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12·edit-26 hours ago Gris Balatro mirror’s Edge Horizon Forbidden West (saving this one for desktop) E: refunded Mirror’s Edge, it was running at like 5 FPS on low settings. E2: picked up Mirror’s Edge on GoG instead for the same price ($3). Disabled PhysX and it runs like a dream.
minus-squareSnoopey@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·15 hours agoWere there any physx settings turned on when running Mirror’s Edge? It can bring a 5090 to it’s knees due to removal of 32bit physx support. Great recent gamer’s nexus video on it. Anyway, physx running on the CPU with Mirror’s Edge kills fps
minus-squareSnoopey@lemmy.dbzer0.comlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·13 hours agoBasically only option right now is to turn off anything physx in older games like mirrors edge. Should solve the fps issue
minus-squaremohab@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·16 hours agoIf anyone can afford it, I recommend the Neva + Gris bundle. Neva is even better, IMO.

Yes. What do I do about that?

Gris is great. Small, but beautiful.
