There’s loads of titles I’d love to see remastered but Xenogears is the one high on my list. I doubt we’ll see that one anytime soon though. But give me Threads of Fate, Brave Fencer and Einhander, please. Of course, I’ll take Parasite Eve and Vagrant Story too. I guess that’s my wish list.
I wish they would fix the instability of Chrono Trigger on Steam Deck first…
A completely pre written story with an existing fan base that will give you tons of money if you just make it look slightly better and can even break it up into a bajillion parts to make even more money… And they’re willing to do that?? Just for us??
Please , for the love of God, Vagrant Story and Parasite Eve II.
Sounds great, get cracking on remastering Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Parasite Eve.
I know we are still early in the 9th gen console era, but this seems to be the trend.
Take a game that the gamers loved from the 6th and 7th gen console era, and heavily rework the graphics and the games mechanics.
A good deal of time has passed since gamers last played those games. So, they are combining a healthy dose of nostalgia, modern graphics and game mechanics into a potent blend to make the gamers pay up for what is essentially an old IP, just reheated.
From the dev / publishers perspective, is a very low risk and decently high reward undertaking. A no brainer essentially.
I’m okay with it, except the FF7 remake. That’s a trash retelling of the original, and they lied about it being a retelling, instead feeding us all the line that it was a faithful remake when it’s not.
Pissed you have to buy multiple installments to get the full story too… really just milking it. Idk if I’ll bother finishing it tbh.
Can we get a pixel remaster of the two portable FF Tactics Advance? Love those games but it’s very difficult to play them nowadays.
LEGEND OF DRAGOON PLZ
Legend of Dragoon was made by Sony, not Square Enix.
But I agree.
I still remember how I found pressing a button at the right time in combat for more damage was mindblowing and super engaging lol, I wonder if I‘d still like it today
Right! Definitely one of my first qte’s I’d say.
