I prefer to opt out of using this feature for a simple reason: I already hate when people call my phone, so why would I want X users to call me? I sincerely recommend that people opt for safer alternatives, such as WireMin and Element. Calls on these platforms are end-to-end encrypted, and since they are decentralized, there are no central servers to save or analyze our calls. It’s important to ensure that our calls are not being monitored for ad targeting based on our conversations.

If decentralized platforms seem too much for you, at least use Signal, which also offers end-to-end encryption for calls.
