You pretend like nationalist authoritarianism is a phenomenon exclusive to Russia, or like this would be some kind of special case. No it is not. I come from a place with equally rotten politics and we have people being marked as terrorists nowadays who were pushed as freedom fighters by the Westerns back in the day because they were against their enemy. The Americans conveniently ignored all their fascistic tendencies or said something like you do about having to understand the specific culture, etc. to justify supporting those people. And now they’re backing someone else to get rid of the people they once supported, again ignoring anything that doesn’t fit into their narrative. If you now think you know where I’m from, believe me you don’t, this is such a common trope it has happened in too many places. Your situation is not unique and if you support a fascist you get fascism.

It’s good that he opposes Putin but because of that people seem to completely overlook the fact that this guy is a right wing populist himself.

Es ist allerdings auch wirklich frustrierend. In der letzten NRW-Wahl z.B. haben sie mMn einen sehr sozialdemokratischen Wahlkampf geführt, es ging größtenteils um steigende Mieten und Inflation, bzw. Generell Armut bekämpfen.

Vielleicht wurden sie von vielen nicht gewählt weil „Russlandversteher“, aber im mitgliederstärksten Bundesland mit so vielen potentiellen Wählern im Rhein-Ruhr Gebiet nur auf 2.1% zu kommen, das zeigt irgendwo auch dass die Leute anscheinend nicht links wählen wollen. Oder vielleicht geht es ihnen irgendwie doch noch zu gut?

Irgendwo hat sich jedenfalls die Partei sehr stark von der eigentlich wichtigsten Zielgruppe entfernt, Arbeiter und Geringverdiener. Finde ich sehr traurig und ich wüsste kaum, wie man es dort z.B. anders hätte machen sollen. Populismus von links? Keine Ahnung.

Then, they have a very narrow view on what makes someone a „real“ Muslim and want to make that view the mainstream. Now for any normal Muslim, they would need to decide if they lose their religion or start becoming „real“ Muslims. It’s very black and white. And then for someone who truly believes, this puts them in a very difficult spot from a psychological point of view.

These people just abuse the fear of people on all sides.

Es ist extrem menschenverachtend und rassistisch, Menschen die vor Bomben fliehen mit Terroristen gleichzusetzen, nur weil sie die gleiche Nationalität haben.

Ich sehe den Namen des Posters unter jedem Post der irgendwas mit Nahost zutun hat. Und sonst quasi nirgendwo. Feddit ist ja noch ziemlich klein da fällt einem sowas auf. Meistens haben die Posts von diesem Account auch ziemlich viele Downvotes.

Ich bin froh, dass dies keinen großen Anklang bei der Community findet und hoffe es bleibt so.

Kann ja sein dass es gegen die Schulordnung ist. Davon habe ich aber bisher auch noch nichts gelesen.

Hm ich finde es etwas müßig, darüber zu streiten, ob das jetzt Selbstjustiz war oder nicht, verstehe dich aber.

Dann lass es mich so ausdrücken: Er hat ja eindeutig das Gefühl der Schüler macht was falsch und wendet dann Gewalt an um seine Auffassung vom Recht durchzusetzen. Das Gewaltmonopol hat aber die Polizei. Und ich finde es besonders fatal dass es hier um einen Lehrer geht. Der hat ja eindeutig einen pädagogischen Auftrag und eine Vorbildfunktion gegenüber Schutzbefohlenen.

Reicht ja schon wenn man mal das Webinterface vom Mailprovider benutzt… oder neuerdings wieder seinen Ausweis mitnehmen muss zu nem Ausflug ins Nachbarland weil Grenzkontrollen. Selbst wenn man den Kopf in den Sand stecken möchte ist das auch schon wieder Aufwand

Das kann dann ja ein Gericht entscheiden, ob das Schwenken einer Palästina-Fahne tatsächlich eine Straftat war. Ich glaube zwar nicht, aber selbst wenn erlaubt das nicht, Selbstjustiz auszuüben.Insbesondere nicht als Lehrer gegenüber einem Schutzbefohlenem.
