    True Resurrection can only create a new body if the original doesn’t exist anymore. If you just can’t find it, tough luck. This is why you must never cremate villains.

      Couldn’t it be cast in hopes of the original body not existing anymore? That’ll be on the discretion of the GM but makes sense in-character, I think

        Yes. If you can’t find the body, you might be able to use it, but if the body still exists and you just can’t find it, then it won’t work.

      This is why my barbarian carries the bodies of all villains he killed with him. Just to … you know, keep an eye on them.

        Really your best bet is to knock them out and petrify them. That way if they have a Clone it won’t activate.
