There have been rumors about this for months now. We already know Meadows has met with Jack Smith, and that Meadows’ testimony about his book was used in making the DoJ’s federal cases against Trump.

So why is this story breaking now? Why are the rumors about Meadows’ immunity suddenly newsworthy?

I think it’s because Meadows is getting ready to flip in the Georgia case, too. His immunity deal with the DoJ doesn’t help him at all if he gets convicted in Georgia.

Meadows was unable to move the RICO case to a federal court. Now Hall, Powell, Chesebro, and Ellis have all taken deals in Georgia. Those who flip first get the best deals, and I bet Meadows is looking to be looking to be number 5 out of 19.

There will be no going back from this for him, though. The next flip in the Georgia case will be just as public as the last four have been. It will be Meadows’ Michael Cohen moment. The point of no return.

By my estimate you have a good chance of being right. Of course, the reverse is also true. Those that Georgia has flipped, depending on what useful knowledge they have, can be indicated and flipped by the DOJ. Rudy is running out of time.

Almost. Three of Trumps lawyers have already flipped. Now his Chief of Staff. Rudy is the last major it seems to me. The last guy to flip is not a place you want to be, unless you have something really juicy. Does Rudy want to spend the rest of his life in jail for that guy?

Eastman is pretty high up there. Clark, too, was ready to become Attorney General and wield the power of DOJ for Trump before that got reeled back in.

Not a rumor, the deal with Smith is done. You’re right about Georgia tomorrow. That deal has got to already be done, and just needs to be made official before the judge.

Self serving revisionist history from Trump’s enablers.

Article lays out that the book continues to support the notion that the election was stolen. Meadows’ words to Smith now are exactly the opposite. Meadows is a fucking snake. We should expect to see him in Judge McAfee’s courtroom tomorrow pleading guilty in Georgia.

This is in the DC Circuit federal case, where Meadows is not charged. It makes total sense to receive immunity there in exchange for testimony, because otherwise that testimony would incriminate him.

Expect to see Meadows pleading guilty in Georgia tomorrow, likely with the same kind of <$10K restitution, five years’ probation, letter of apology, and cooperation agreement that other have received. That deal is most certainly already done.
