It keeps us divided. If we think right wingers have nothing in common with is, then we’ve swallowed the BS. During these interviews there are certainly some people that bring up good points that both sides do have in common, but why would the media bother showing that?

I mean it sounds like their point was content like this is divisive? Which it absolutely just is. Not everyone who tried to see things from another perspective is an “enlightened centrist.” I personally don’t think there is room to compromise on issues of reproductive rights and everything else you mentioned. That doesn’t mean I can’t think this content is pure rage-bait garbage fluff though.

This is my point, thank you.

I’m no centrist. The media does a good job of keeping is all fighting about these issues, which are huge, but why do we never see any media about issues that we have in common?

Nobody hates them over differing opinions. It’s more about the need to oppress anyone they deem as not like them and their desire to harm anyone who disagrees.

Save that both sides shit for your personal rationalizations, no one else is buying it.

Republicans win just fine without coordinating with the Democrats. We need to organize and push the democratic party to be a proper leftist party that fights for the working class, not coordinate with fascists.
