The worst part of this for me is that none of them are even communist really, they just hate NATO and love modern day Russia for some weird reason?
Like I actually like the idea of proper commune style communism, being a fairly far left socialist (and also wanting to see the capitalist/imperial American system fall and/or replaced with something better).
But none of these lot are actually communist in the slightest (as I said) they are literally just anti-west / pro-auth / pro-Russia people…
They are pro-authoritarians. It is the authoritarian part which they love. It is pure chance that they have fixated on communist terms, because they could as well be MAGA fascists, they share all their opinions with that crowd, which loves authoritarianism as well.
Communism is a post-scarcity society. Climate change is gonna cause a lot of scarcity. Communism will take a while, if it can ever happen. Social Democracy is probably the closest we get to an egalitarian society before climate change kills us all.

Well said. I don’t doubt that in the future, Communism will be the norm, assuming humanity will be kind.
But as you said, these users are not Communists.
