Hi Lemmy! I’ve just uploaded a new version, and this is the changelog:

  • Mark as read on scroll (Settings-General-Posts). Posts will be marked as read when you scroll past them. Disable Show read posts in your Account Preferences and you won’t see those posts again. Note: In Lemmy, voting, saving or reading comments of a post marks the post as read automatically
  • Support for animated webp images
  • Play gifs embedded in comments
  • Show context option when visiting a single comment thread
  • Fix long comment chains being unreadable
  • Bug fixes and improvements

    Paid for the ad free version seeing you’re actually updating it. Great app that I paid fir back in the Reddit days as well.

    Hey, your app is one of the best around there, great job! Do you think you could add predictive back gestures ? (Totally fine if you don’t) And maybe make the app available in more languages? :))

    Also, do you think you could maybe add an option to get rid of the profile drawer (the one on the left side) and make it look like the google play store one? It’s kinda hard to use when on gestures :)))

          Agreed. I’m patiently waiting for the app that allows disabling or collapsing images in comments entirely. This is probably my most wanted feature.

      How tf do you post one with a weblink when websites like Giffy wrap it in a website by default.

        In contrast to pages like giphy, I’m not enshittified.
        In fact you have to commit some serious jank to have a link serve a gif file if included in a page but a website if opened directly. Those “services” have worked hard to maje your experience worse.

        What I did is the default. You put the file into the directory of your website and it’ll work like that.

    Just happily paid for the ad free version. Since you’re doing actual updates and now have read on scroll it’s worth it.
