My only worry is that it really got out of hand….it enabled Reddit to be incredibly shitty to users but still at bare minimum getting income from awards.
I saw some idiots giving out awards to spez during the AmA….like what.
I’d be suspicious about any account interacting positively with spez. But I digress.
But also one got reddit coins whenever someone gilded your comment. So a lot of awards were given by people who never paid. Can’t tell if that was a smart move or not… but every award I ever gave was free.
