Thanks for the feedback! I’m going to look into this now.

Hi, thanks for the feedback and I’ll take a look. Yeah as the other commenter said I believe this is just a caching issue and the post card isn’t getting updated.
I dont really have a specific roadmap per se, I know I want to add import/export functionality next and then mod support afterwards. I’m kind of thinking about adding iOS support but not sure if that is something people want.
Beyond those items I’m mostly listening to community feedback and adding in things where they make sense.
I’ll look at those two posts you linked. Cheers!
Caching should be a bit improved on 1.0.174. Right now things live in the cache for 14 days before they’re removed.
Hi, thanks for the feedback! I’ll take a look into this issue for the next release.
Thanks for the link! This should now be fixed on ver 173.
Could you link an example of a video that doesn’t load? I can see what I can do.
There should be a join link on the store listing page
I’m going to try a small modification in the beta tonight, please let me know your thoughts. The comment actions will now always span the full width and instead of tons of comment lines it will be a bit cleaner.
How do the other apps handle this? I think I can add in handling for this easily enough, I just haven’t seen it before.
Probably in the next 2-3 releases. It’s next on my list after import/export settings.
Hi, I’ve updated the controls to be white on the most recent version. Previously it would depend on light/dark mode. Thanks for the feedback!
Hi, thanks for the feedback and this should now be fixed on ver169.
Cheers! Glad you’re enjoying the app :)
New post would be preferred! Then it has more visibility instead of buried in a comment chain.
Hi, thanks for the feedback! I think this might be related to caching and the app switching from keeping images in memory versus loading from storage. Does this also happen on list views for you? Asking because list view images are much smaller.
I’m keeping a timestamp locally of when a post is last viewed and highlighting everything newer than that timestamp. If you use multiple apps it might not be accurate but I couldn’t find a way to access this information from the API.
Ok thank you that is helpful. I think I see what’s going on (this is the breaking image https://lemmy.zip/pictrs/image/aa9afd51-0d2e-492e-b485-74e9d0a852c2.webp?format=webp but this works https://lemmy.zip/pictrs/image/aa9afd51-0d2e-492e-b485-74e9d0a852c2.webp so I’m guessing Pictrs doesn’t like when I’m specifying the webp format on images already in that format). Should be fixed in the next release (tomorrow).
I’ll take a look! Is this for all images or specific images? What happens when you open an image?
Hi! Are you still seeing load issues on v177? I can take a look.
