Don’t have one, unfortunately. And I don’t think I’ll get enough use out of one to justify buying it

I cannot. Mobile games are exclusively licensed by Netflix: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netflix.NGP.IntoTheBreach&hl=en-US
On desktop, I’ll of course go for the actual purchase
I have it on PC, but I want to play it on the go. The only way to (legally) get it on mobile is via Netflix. I’d buy it, if I could, it’d be worth it
Fuck them for licencing games behind a monthly subscription. I want to buy Into the Breach, not get a video subscription I won’t use to be able to play it.
Okay to have a backup, but I’m still hopeful we’ll get this one unlocked
Good point.

I thought we left that attitude on Reddit, that’s a really disappointing and insulting take. The community is the community, not a handful of moderators. We’re grateful for the work y’all are doing, but, and I really don’t intend this as an insult, moderators are replaceable.
This move is going to make the community a lot less welcoming to queer folk, by virtue of being on .world alone. I don’t know what rift between Ada and you let to that decision, but I think it’s a big mistake. It feels especially bad for us members of this community not being involved in the decision making process at all, all the more if this has truly been “months in the making”.
With that said: I strongly implore you to not lock down the community, and instead let a new mod team take over. Not having centralized decisions and power tripping mods is one of the big hopes I had for the fediverse, and this… feels really bad. It’s not a bad thing to have several similar communities on different instances! Please don’t destroy this one over personal grievances
Damn :c
What has led to that decision?
I’m of two minds about this. If an area is extremely disaster-prone, you shouldn’t build there. But it sucks to already live there, and not get insured. I’d be fine if there were no new insurance contacts on new houses being built.
Another, local example: in Germany, a few years ago there was a catastrophic flood that killed several people and destroyed many houses located in a river valley, because the river had been artificially narrowed and straightened. With looming climate change there was already talks about flooding risk and insurance covering. After the disaster, a decent chunk of people planned to rebuild their houses in the exact same spots. Some were not even insured, and relied on government disaster relief money, afaik
Are those slightly sketchy and probably horny mods in your data folder or are you just happy to see me?
Can’t believe no one said “this post” yet
Bit of a stretch to call a medium opinion piece You wrote scientific context, tbh
nothing is real do what you want
This is what they take away from it? Discussing qualia is fascinating, and natural philosophy of the mind in general is an amazing field, but if your takeaway is that nothing exists, your understanding is about as deep as a puddle
Due to tidal effects the moon is slowly getting further away from the earth, so we’re living at just the right time to see such spectacular eclipses
I mean, at least they’re cracking down on islamic faith healers too? Anyone conning people in medical distress out of their money deserves to be treated as a criminal
