If the skill set you offer is in demand and the pool of people is too small to meet demand you make a lot of money for that skill set. If the skill set you offer doesn’t require much, something that anyone can easily pickup, and the pool of people to pick from is over saturated – you get paid less for that skill set.

Sounds like you’re getting too much of your info from here or reddit because the US is not anything like what’s portrayed on television overall. You’ve got your small pockets of crazies that are unfortunately very loud, hence the reason we look nuts. Yes, every 4 years we get to vote, and that could have some drastic changes on policies. But that’s America for you. Don’t bash us just because our current leadership is ass.

Admittedly I really like Discord’s user interface. Love the servers that can be organized by channel and channel type, have permissions sets for different roles, etc. All that good shit. What I don’t like is the total control of one entity and lack of privacy. I’ve been looking at Matrix but it still has a ways to go before I could ever think of completely dropping Discord.

I’d be worried with that many hits.
