BYD is in Mexico and selling so we see them on the streets. They are sharp looking cars.

If go outside there is no need to wash your hands, tis is natural.
You are right. I’m going to cry in a pillow now
Your forgot expensive too.
If they are so rural ISPs won’t take them, why would a cell company deploy 5G in a super sparse area?
For example TMO and VZW will only hand out home cell modem if you live within half mile of a major interstate. If not out of luck aside from Starlink.
We went one step further than courthouse and that was Las Vegas. About $1,500 USD for everything. Still together and no regrets.
There is a first time learning curve to climb and there is a project that good chance will never complete. This is really looking like the later than the former. Don’t forget how much money already sunk in. This was back in ‘22, project started in 2008.

Meanwhile we have been “figuring it out” and Mexico, you know what the US considers nothing but Cancun, cartels, beans, and needs a wall has learned, funded, built and opened first service in Dec and almost fully running today and way bigger, about 5x in track length. Total project cost around 30bil and few years to build. MX is even manufacturing the trains in Mexico.

The only good success on how to do rail, even if not bullet speeds, in the US is Brightline. They have plans to expand even further but at least is doing something today vs another 100bil and 1-2 decades.
By all metrics the CA project is a money pit.
40down, 6up, 50USD/mo go USA! Only other option is Starlink which already had and was too unreliable.
It is awesome
Pad Thai, found a recipient from Hot Thai Kitchen YouTube video. She made it look easy.
3 hr later I produced a goop that was un-edible. So bad my SO asked me never to try again.
Gotta provide some details for us non Mexican folks.
They look like they are part of the federal government?
Ha, that is what I was thinking too.
For clarification, is this serious or sarcasm?
I remember reading something that they are all leased, not purchased. So they cut their lease and own them already.
Need to double check that.
Thanks for the fantastic write up. It has been about 5ish years since I used VBox. Back then extensions were still needed for USB to work so this is good news.
VBox was always a great software, Oracle getting it really sucked
Dumb question: why would anyone improve VBox?
I have heard of Oracle looking at IP addresses and if they notice a trend they try to collect a license off it. Same crap they do with Java. Do people use VBox and not concerned of Oracle looking over them?
I loved VBox back then, it worked great.
Feel like they remake it every 7ish years lol

It is mind bending and believe changes with each episode
Oh also the 2k is assuming an increase for 2024. 2022 my premium for the same crappy Bronze plan was around 950, then jumped up that much to 1400 in 2023 when one the insurance companies pulled out of our states healthcare market.
For a silver plan, lower deductibles etc (3500), you can almost double the crappiest Bronze plan premiums. So 2,000 - 3,000 premiums wouldn’t be a surprise before subsidies. Also if you aren’t familiar with the subsidies those are calculated based an a certain income. So if you put down a range (55k/yr) and let’s say you got a raise at the end of the year ($62k) it may disqualify you and boom you owe an extra 7k during tax time. Happened to my dad.
The best thing to happen was getting employer backed insurance but now our insurance is tied to our employer, yay for employer latitude.
Yup or colo is full and won’t accept any more changes. So one has to wait until someone else gives up space and then a fire sale on the newly freed space.
