  • Well I’d imagine a lot of F1 fans in their early 30s grew up watching Gundam Wing and Seed, so this might be big nostalgia bait. And they’re definitely trying to grow Gundam’s popularity in the US, what with the latest series being free on YouTube and all.

And if Yuki is Amuro in this crossover, his car is gonna get incredibly damaged this race because of some reckless driving, but he’ll still somehow end up finishing in the points (I’d say a win, but let’s be a tad realistic here).

  • I’ve always liked Gundam, but I never really got into it until earlier this year when I watched the original series. So I’m absolutely loving this collaboration.

The model kits (gunpla) are super fun to build, I highly recommend picking up a cheap ($10-$30) high grade kit if you’re remotely curious about it. Just get a pair of cutters and you’re all set to build it.

Also, the fact that they aren’t selling that AT branded kit is criminal. I’m gonna have to try and paint my own now I guess.

Right, but that’s top of the line stuff. You can easily build a PC with a 70 tier GPU for less than $1500 and you’ll still have a kickass gaming PC.

The XX70 tier equivalent mountain bikes cost like $3000-$3500. I’m thinking along the lines of a Trek Remedy 7 (which is what I have), a base Santa Cruz Bronson, or a base Specialized Stumpjumper. There are plenty more but those are just 3 from some big brands.
