I thought food is way cheaper in the US but considering the taxes and tip, the prices seems similar to Europe.
What type of cake are we talking here? Industrial or home baked? Also what size? I am talking about a cake of 6 portion of around 200g.
I was raised poor so even now that I can afford it, I feel something forbidding me from buying cake. That and knowing that I gain weight very easily and it takes me lots of hours to get raid of it.
Imagine buying 14TB and find out that it is 12TB instead.
People always says AI do create only variations but many successful TV shows are variations. I started watching sitcoms from the 70s and many things were copied/adapted in recent shows.
Doesn’t plex have an UI for all of them? I use plex to watch my media and I saw an option to add your streaming services.
Yes I know but the French gouvernement passed many laws not in favor of employees. There were strikes for months but the gouvernement didn’t listen and police was beating people.
Now an employer can fire you because of race / sexual orientation… Etc. You can win if you went into trial but the employer may pay just few hundreds euros because there is a limit that caps how much the employer will pay.
I know that but the gouvernement could passes law and unions couldn’t do nothing about it (that’s what happen when a gouvernement uses force instead of dialogue). In the recent years the French gouvernement passed many laws that weakened employees rights. Do you know that if you go into court against your employer and you win, you will just get few hundred euros? It won’t ever cover for lawyer expenses. That’s because a law was to max the amount you can and it is very low.
I am afraid that he already bought some politicians. Did you see how he was welcomed by French government?
I am watching sitcoms from the 70s and you notice that they last for 25-26 minutes instead of 22 minutes.
I don’t really believe in those of articles. Many of them exaggerate things, if they weren’t we had cured aids, cancer a decade ago, we are running on clean and renewable energy. I see a lot of articles like that but years after nothing have really changed and our situation is much worse.
That’s what they make you believe. Why American still pay high prices for insulin? It doesn’t cost that much to produce. It just those companies are paying politicians to keep things in their advantages and give you those excuses.
That’s just an excuse because many drugs are sold at prices much lower what they are sold in the US. They are not selling them at loss in other countries.
I even was thinking if that episode from Seinfeld not just a scheme pulled by McDonald’s.
Do you know what happened to the author? I liked when he started posting on Reddit. At one time he said he had an accident.
Yes I do that and in my case I use very little for showers, around 6l/shower max. It is not about the cost but there are some cities around where they don’t have tap water this summer. There weren’t any real actions that were taken to avoid that situation.
I am also very sensitive about water and I used get angry even when seeing people on television washing their teeth while letting the water running. Right now I also get angry watching people taking a bath, taking a shower and letting the water running.
People are used to always have water and it is cheap so they don’t care. I even saw someone on Reddit saying that you don’t need to turn off water in the shower when you soap because it costs almost nothing.
I worked at company like stripe and exactly at the scope of authentication/liability. I am not sure about whatever you pay the charge back fee even though the liability is shifted from you to the issuer bank. Do you have 3DS2 enabled for your payments?
It is normal that Stripe mention the charge back fees as there are exceptions for strong authentication but it is worth asking them for details and whatever you pay the fee even when liability have been shifted. And maybe the issuer bank will just do refund and take the loss if it see the SCA have been done.
In Europe at least if strong authentication was done during the purchase (and it is mandatory since a few years), the merchant is protected and the bank issued the card will take the loss. They don’t need to refund or pay fees for charge back.
Many rich people are “donating” to avoid paying taxes and it another way for marketing. You are the proof of that, you are defending and promoting her.
Billionaires like her are the reason we have poverty and charity associations
