FYI, there is now !europe@feddit.org
Thank you for volunteering!
Just as an observation, I’m not sure we’ll get people. Good moderators are hard to find (I’ve been looking for some for !yurop@lemm.ee for a long time ), and this community will probably require more work to moderate as it will have a lot of news and political discussions. After all, there’s a reason poVoq was the only mod here.
The tankie cesspool is probably !europe@lemmy.ml
Hopefully there will be some people willing to moderate !europe@feddit.org, or !europe@lemm.ee, it doesn’t matter that much in the end
The mod would actually prefer to step down: https://slrpnk.net/comment/9445371
Thank you for your input
I am not sure I got your comment right
Lemm.ee is an English speaking European instance that could host the !Europe instance.
It is different in that regard compared to feddit.dk, feddit.org, feddit.UK, jlai.lu, feddit.org, I don’t think there is even an Estonian speaking community on Lemm.ee
All of the other instances named in the previous paragraph have a focus on their local language, lemm.ee does not.
Thanks for the explanation
There’s also !europe@jlai.lu - but it seems to be exclusively francophone.
It is, the same way !europa@feddit.de was German speaking
Hello, I added some context in the comment below.
Thank you for the book suggestion, it’s on my radar.
Then maybe talk about her difficulties with her, and ask how you can help. Work to understand her perspective first, what she finds difficult, what she finds frustrating.
We discussed about it earlier this weekend. In summary, she finds hard to study because it still seems “far away in the future” (it’s in early September), and on the other side, she also feels like even if she studies a lot for it, she will never feel ready.
She has already failed that exam in the past.
Thank you for your comment !
She has been diagnosed a few years ago. She has medication but only a few pills left, she’s following up on that this week.
No worries about being negative!
Edit: years ago, not weeks
!belgique@jlai.lu and !belgium@lemmy.world in case other Belgians see this post
