Yeah…looking into Lemmy because Reddit is fk US PoS. Now that I understood how Lemmy works, how servers and federations work, it’s really not that much of a difference tbh. But for newbies I understand that having to choose a server looks daunting (“what server is the right one for me? Naaah…too complicated!”).

On the other Lemmy like platform they used to suggest https://etherpad.org/ - open source and EU based.
