Correct. These statements are always made from a position that the speaker assumes the votes Belong To Their Candidate. The fact remains that not voting for the orange hitler is still not a vote for orange hitler. Voting 3rd party is also not a vote for orange hitler.
No one may assume that another citizen’s vote belongs to any candidate. Their vote belongs to them alone, to vote or not as they choose.
Having stated the facts of how that works, now I recommend that we all vote for Harris and against orange hitler.
Not anytime soon.
No it isn’t, they don’t have phones.
Wow I’m really glad I had heard stories about that stuff in the past. I had to see specialists for back problems and they offered that drug, and I said no thanks, and physical therapy did the trick for me also. I feel like I end up turning down half the drugs the doctors offer me in recent years.
Recent polls are showing a different side of it apparently
https://thehill.com/homenews/lgbtq/4949915-gop-campaign-ads-trans-rights/
"Just more than 60 percent of surveyed voters, including a majority of independents and 41 percent of Republicans, said it is “sad and shameful” for GOP candidates to make anti-LGBTQ rhetoric a part of their campaigns, according to the poll, which was released Thursday. "
You are correct, and that guy doesn’t know he’s deaf I guess. All pistols are loud enough to hurt your ears if your ears are normal. Even a .22LR pistol with a 6" target barrel is pretty loud to the naked ear.
You have a really optimistic view of how the police would respond there. I’d wager that they would be more likely to be mad at you for bothering them with that complaint than actually do anything about it. In my experience, helpful cops are rare.
So many movies show people getting into gun battles indoors, and they will jump behind a couch or flip over a coffee table and take shelter from a hail of bullets, like that thin furniture is going to stop anything.
I see cash businesses all the time that can operate without power or Internet. Festival / market vendors, food trucks, etc. It’s not hard to count money, give change, write down a receipt if needed.
That would be no problem, unless your electricity is unreliable and you don’t have a UPS. I rarely use the power button on any of my PCs or Macs, except the one old PC that can’t do S3 sleep anymore (crashes on wake).
Are y’all not using sleep mode? Also the Apple M-cpus are extremely power efficient so leaving it on without sleep mode is a perfectly fine option too.
Just like a Raspberry Pi needs a dongle for a power button, except the Mini has one already.
I was just thinking this morning about how cloudy / stormy days are often windy, and that combining windmills with solar seems ideal even on the small scale.
Wow that’s horrible, and has to be terrible for kids’ mental health and general perspective on the world. Kids should know what freedom feels like and expect it as the default, and this kind of repression is liable to result in more outbursts of any kind.
Yeah the Max Headroom show covered this topic back in 1987

Here in the USA my mortgage on a modestly sized house is half that cost. Owning a home in the EU sounds much more expensive to me.
State Farm also screwed over a guy I know. He dumped their policy after they wouldn’t pay anything on his accident (much less dramatic than yours) where they had some kind of parking related crash with 2 of their cars at home. State Farm told him that he could not be covered for an accident with another car on his policy because he “can’t sue himself” so it sounds like they are only paying out when they have someone to sue about it.
Randomgal BLASTS the article by pointing out that renzev SLAMMED it with reasoning
I think people are taking issue with calling this act of normal voting “a TikTok trend” as if TikTok deserves the credit for inspiring the youngsters. It would be better if the news media used platform-agnostic terms with social media to avoid promoting their brands. “Young Americans use social media to organize voters” etc
