I got the pixel 8 at release, had to return it because the wireless charging stopped working. I was lucky to have a shitty old phone around and their customer service was pretty good about it. Considered as a teething problem, but then a month ago I had the same issue and this time they were horrible to deal with. Finally got a replacement, opened it to check it was all there and traded it in for a discount on a Samsung. The customer service in the chat on the second occasion was trying to tell me I needed the original invoice the second to prove it was still in warranty, I was like 1. You guys sent me this replacement phone and 2. It hasn’t been available long enough to be out of warranty. When I asked for them to escalate the chat, they just ended it.
AI has become the genie granting overly specific wishes.
“You said, with his five fingers clasped in prayer”
I kinda assumed this was part of their plan. Rope along some Republicans who are too moderate(?) for Trump, then ditch at the last minute and tell them they have to vote for Trump now. Gives less chance that they’ll have time to sway to Dems or other 3rd party candidates
In the first one, you could drop in and out of each other’s games and you would share progress on relevant missions. In number 2 you would join one players game, only they would get credit for any progress and it tethered you together. So although technically co-op, it was a significant downgrade from the first game and didn’t lend itself to the open world nature of the game, more like being player 2.
I have a co-op buddy too and heaps of good suggestions from others here. Two that I’ve been enjoying as 2 person co-op:
Wartales: started this after completing BG3 and it was a real interesting change in thinking. This is fantasy party adventure, but you run a team of mercenaries, so it’s more about the team build and strategy, rather than the specific character focus that you have in BG3.
The Wild Eight: an isometric survival, crafting, set in a plane crash in the snow. Some story, discovery elements included.
But not 2, because the sequel doesn’t have true co-op
The dynamic story telling in Wyldermyth is fantastic, love interesting character arcs that can develop.
Love to see the face of Jan 6 2.0 rioters, when they realized someone in power actually wants to stop them this time
Obviously you just have an ugly family
I hear Boeing ordered 6 of these rockets all ready
It’s really just kicking the can down the street. My expectation is if they got into power, they would say the figures are more than they realised, say they have to fix Labor’s economic mess and they’ll come back to it when the economy is in the black. Like others, I would have seen it as viable 20 years ago, but it is just so expensive, they’ve cancelled builds overseas because of cost blowouts and Europe is turning off reactors because of all the renewable energy in their grid. The claim it would be cheaper annoys me the most, as it is an outright lie. All the liberals do is shovel shit and coal
Maybe $11.99, they won’t actually confirm that till checkout
Wait, I thought posting pictures of your thighs was required for running Linux?
So I would be best installing it at my nose height?
Anything that doesn’t just funnel money back to millionaires. I’ve never understood people’s aversion to tax, especially when they should be focusing on the rigged two party system that is at the core of the wastage.
If I have to choose one, universal basic income, it solves a lot of problems. It can help people in need, but if you want to be selfish about it, at least it lowers the odds that someone will rob your house.
As for people worried about making sure it goes to the right people, I would rather pay a few scammers than risk having someone in genuine need suffer
Good on them for cutting down on the pedophilia, it’s always hard to kick a habit
One of my all time favorite movies, but yeah it’s fucked up.
Saw it in the cinema and it’s the only time I’ve come out of a movie to dead silence, everyone just walking out in silent shock
