Honestly, I was just chilling, watching the show Severance, when the urge to write hit me—specifically, to write about how capitalism forges its own destruction due to its inherent contradictions. I also totally meant to post this to the creative writing sub, not comradeship. Oops!

I mean, they have—to people who aren’t aware of class struggle. One of my liberal friends says this all the time about how women and people of color make better bosses and leaders. That could be true in some ways, like how being oppressed might make them more empathetic and less likely to oppress others. But that’s not her point. When I press her for a legitimate answer, it’s always some gender or race essentialist nonsense about how they’re inherently better. It’s frustrating, man. Class struggle is the only way forward.

From what I’ve seen, the Ukrainians launched an attack on Kursk. Lots of civilians have fled. According to the Ukrainian leadership and the west they are pushing deeper with nothing to lose and have regained the spirit of the war. According to Russia they don’t even really seem to care about it. At most they say it will be a detriment to Ukraine.
