the courts striking down is exactly why its better to make progress and yes he did still have to work with congress. If in 4 years a dem gets in then 8 years folks will complain that there will be no progress from today but will put a blind eye to having caught back up from the next 4 years of regression. A good example is the biden approved x permit for drilling on lands. lands open to drilling under trump. lands can be protected or taken out of protection but once out the president can’t arbitrailly not allow permits.

oh yeah sure. expanding overtime rights, over the counter birth control, getting rid of junk fees, clarifying the vice presidents role in certifying elections as ministerial, funding infrastructure while simultaneously stimulating energy efficiency and renewables, forcing airlines to refund canceled flights, fighting for loan forgiveness extensively as well as to put a stop to non compete clauses. nothing for the working class though as this does not hit specific things I find important so lets just go worse in all possible ways because thats a solid plan.

Sure there is disinformation but it does not nullify information. The voters can’t say they did not know what trump was like or what the republicans have become. There was the four years previous and everything they actually say. If folks voted for it, its what they want. If folks did not its still what they wanted. What else would someone expect the results to be. What have the results been in elections before. We all know we have first past the post. We all know its a two party system. We can get that changed but its going to have to be a the primaries and working at every level. I hope the majority make better decisions in two years if they have that chance.

ultimately its the voters. we have primaries as well as general and remember congress is what can really change things. The last election shows voters felt we were not right enough at all levels.

I mean I know they used to have a program where medical school loans could be paid by working in rural communities. Its actually underserved but within the program working near a city was very competitive as that is where all the doctors wanted to work to get the loan forgiveness.

As long as you push the ama to push to educate more doctors and for universal health care, then I don’t think you have anything to feel bad about. We should have as many doctors as we need and should not be rationed based on wealth of the patients. We should be weeding out physcicians based on capability and not on the ability to stay awake for massive amounts of time.
