The politics of protecting your own arse? I’m not saying it’s true, but if they have just killed a plane load of innocent people, what’s one more?

Man. I remember taking the CompTIA exams back in the day.
I forget about them until my boss asks me why we are spending so much on cloud services.
I can’t help but feel the only reason the Tory’s are resigning and taking a stance now is that they have an opportunity to blame it on the brown guy.
And also, lol at Nadine Dorries resignation letter where she basically lists all the awful things that she thinks RIshi Sunak should have been doing more awfully. Like “hasn’t drowned enough immigrants”, “hasn’t nuked france” (actually, that one is ok), “hasn’t invaded scotland”…
I don’t really game even a percentage as much as I used to. Possibly even as little as a tenth of a percent. So when me and my mate want to play a game we just dive into our steam libraries and play some game from our past. It’s so nice to be able to avoid all the drama that you see surrounding the AAA-o-sphere. If we do ever get a new game it’s only after we’ve ummed and ahhed about it for years anyway. Patient gaming is the best. And enjoying an old steam library and revelling in nostalgia is great.
Welcome to capitalism
It’s ok to not know about it, but when you are made aware about it you are then presented with a choice.
It’s up to you if you want to carry on using the term despite knowing about it’s roots.
Crackering
“The act of tackily retheming a gui in an attempt to look like a 1337 hacker. Typically the preserve of young white males in the tech industry”
Yeah. Sometimes it seems there are some incredibly based Judges out there in the various law courts around the world. Another pair got acquitted for breaking into a BAE systems airbase and smashing up a bunch of Eurofighters bound for Saudi-Arabia.
On the other hand, it could just be a form of PR/Damage control from the system.
I would love to see it, but I feel like this question is asked repeatedly every five years or so with nothing ever really happening.
These resignation letters from the Tory party are always “I have to leave because you are not being awful enough Mr Sunak”
Really quite stomach turning.
Bearing in mind it’s all a bunch private firms wearing an NHS hat, I would argue corporate murder.
My dad died of legionnaires disease in an NHS hospital because G4S said it was too expensive to replace the legionnaires infested water system, or to install taps that could filter out the legionnaires. This was on a cancer ward for immunocompromised patients. This is a repeated problem at this particular hospital too. The John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxfordshire
So yeah, my dad died to protect some shareholder’s dividends.
No but I talked about it with my Chinese teacher this morning.
UK, always driven manual. I just enjoy it more.
