Been playing through Tunic. It’s an adventure game that has a similar art style to the Link’s Awakening remake, but you play as a fox. The game has an in game manual that you find the pages to and it’s written in a different language that gets translated as you play. So you run into situations where you had the ability to interact with something from the beginning of the game, but you just didn’t know until you find the manual page much later on. It also borrows the bonfire mechanic from the Souls games, resting refills healing potions and respawns enemies.
This game was meant to be a chill relaxed thing to do before I hop back into Elden Ring for the new dlc, but it has been kicking my ass more than I expected.
Welcome! So the way Lemmy works is similar to how Reddit works. There are communities where people make posts and discuss telated topics. These communities can be as specific as a fandom for a certain book, movie, or video game, or as general as any meme that gets a giggle out of you. Luckily I am on jerboa too, so in the bottom left of the page there should be a magnifying glass that will let you search for any community you want. The majority of users here are pretty tech savvy, so the Linux and programming related communities are pretty active. Join the ones you like, block the ones you don’t like. You can also change the posts you are browsing to see only posts from communities you are Subscribed to, to Local which is only communities in the server you made your account on, and All which is anything and everything. Be prepared to see a lot of NSFW if you browse by all. Have fun and if you have any more questions, I’m sure anyone will be willing to help how they can and recommend new communities. I’m a big fan of Non-Credible Defence, but it is definitely not for everyone
The Philippines are looking at that MDT like Poland was looking at Article 5 back in 2022
Spiderman 64 starts off exactly how you describe the game you remember. There is a tutorial, you stop a bank robbery, and then you have to save J Jonah Jameson by fighting Scorpion. Looked up some videos of the Scorpion fight, but it doesn’t look like he has a grab attack.
It was released on the Nintendo 64 in 2000. Not sure how different the ports are, but the game was ported to the PC in 2001, and to Mac in 2002.
Might be worth your time to email Panic and see if they can send a replacement screen if you haven’t tried that yet
Those are some… Very interesting tools you have there. Big fan of the scissors that are actually just a copper pipe
You have a pretty good list already. There are definitely still electronic component kits out there that are a handful of resistors, capacitors, and transistors of different values and some LEDs. You can also look at the parts in these kits and order them yourself from a place like Digi-key or Mouser, not sure what is available to you. It might save you a couple of bucks.
You probably don’t need a variable power supply, unless you really want one. But you should be fine with a 2 or 3 AA battery holder that has some wire leads you can plug into the breadboard. 10k Ohm potentiometers are the most common and the only kind I think I used in school. You can also look into logic gates (NOT, AND, OR, NAND, XOR) to start getting into the digital side of electronics without a microcontroller. Logic gates are the building blocks behind modern computers. There are IC chips that fit into breadboards in the 74HC Series.
I guess this would kinda fit in with A Boring Dystopia . Hopefully that link works, I’ve never linked a community before
I’m calling bullshit on this. There is no way there is that much copper in one of those cameras. However, if you find a red light camera that looks like a big birdhouse or a mailbox… I’ve heard that those cameras might be more worth your time
Me every Friday and Monday. Also Wednesdays. And most of the time on Tuesdays… And sometimes on Thursdays too…
How the fuck do I still have a job?
