But it’s “work to live” not just survive. You spend the rest of the time on living. Whether that’s fishing, hunting, crocheting, watching football, playing games, or something else. Enough money to do what you want to.

“well if I admit that circumcision of babies is wrong, that means there’s something wrong with my penis. And I don’t want there to be something wrong with my penis. Therefore I’m on the side of genital mutilation being ok.”
Holy hell, if some fairly rational person got such a book and did their research on who needs to be written down the world would probably look a lot different in a short amount of time.
With the amount of people who get manipulated with sales and other tactics I don’t think we can argue that humanity is composed of rational economic actors. There are some rational economic actors, but the vast majority probably isn’t acting rationally with regards to their economics. And that’s okay, because humans aren’t rational beings first and foremost. We’re primarily emotional beings. We make most of our decisions based on emotions, then we may try to rationalize our choice.
It takes a lot of effort to be rational about things.
There’s no definition of Europe at all in play here. It’s the EU. A specific subset of countries, which is not the same as Europe. So what I wrote only goes one way. I’m not quite sure it’s an argument, really. I presented the facts, and said that something with a maximum difference of 35% is very comparable. The first result I got through Google was the numbers I have given, which are also the official numbers from the European Union itself. That should be a lot more correct than other numbers you could find.
If you want to google it, make sure you use “EU population”, not “Europe population”. Or you can look at that link I gave, which gives data not just for the EU, but a lot of other European countries as well.
No one said what they learned was useful ;P
AFAIK you can have roles which have access to different parts of your server. Thus you can have that all newly joined accounts have a role where they only can see and interact with a channel for those waiting for acceptance. You can even make it “fill out a form in a thread” for why they want to join, and only after they’ve been accepted will they be given access to the rest of the server (or just some of it)

A couple times. I found the sequels to be much worse movies than the prequels. I mean, episode 7 is okay-ish. It’s mostly episode 4 again. Episode 8 shit the bed. I didn’t watch 9. The original trilogy is a good story.
No, people must know that their enjoyment is wrong!!! ;P
More vaccines faster seems like a good thing to me. It’s not clear whether you intended it to be read as a negative or a positive.
EU is slightly over 448 million people vs 332 million in the USA.
4.233 million km² in EU vs 9.833 million km2 in the USA.
91 billion USD equivalent support from EU (including the EU organization and EU members) versus 75 billion USD from the USA.
91/75 = 1.213…
448/332 = 1.349
If you want per capita you get 0.203 (unit not given, they are the same for each comparison) per capita from EU, versus 0.225 per capita from the USA. The numbers based on area will be a lot worse for the USA.
To be clear; yes, the USA has contributed a little more per capita, but less in absolute terms. There’s a maximum of 35% difference in the populations between the EU and the USA. That’s “very comparable” when it comes to such large populations.
So it’s just an arbitrary restriction as a “fück you” to people using FF
We all need schooling. We learn as long as we live.
Principal?
Indeed, the right to make copies are often licenced (although you can also sell that right) because it is explicitly written in some conventions (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berne_Convention?useskin=vector) that the copyright resides with the creator to begin with. I don’t think the Berne Convention deals with the option of transferring intellectual property and the copyright to them, but I’m assuming it’s mostly defined well enough in some contract law or other.
Yes, you own the information on it. You don’t own the rights to distribute it to others, but you bought the information and the right to personally use it. When you buy a painting, do you only have a licence to view it?
Yeah, that makes sense.
It does also protect masked uninfected people from unmasked infected people. See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7883189/ , especially section 4.
