I think this is where I’m meant to put some witty description of myself, but, uhh, I don’t have one. So have a Birb instead :)
Also on Reddit as u/IAmABakuAMA
Oh my gosh I forgot thunderf00t existed. When I watched him a lot, no matter how much I watched his videos never ended up in my recommended
Eh, the whole reason I refused to use it WAS because they forced it on me so hard. Being forced into having one of you wanted to watch YouTube did my head in and I refused to use it. Same reason I don’t use Microsoft edge even though it’s a little less shit now
Nah chief, gotta get rid of that cynicism!
I don’t. I looked at the sale page, and it screamed at me about there being no stuck and pre orders not being available in my country
I’m not sure that its the type of game many people here would enjoy, but if you’re looking for a strategy game with a slightly retro (2000s-ish) vibe, I can highly recommend kairosofts games. Game Dev story in particular I love and is on sale for AU$5
It just seems like everyone is going off at everyone. If you agree with what’s happening, you’ll be downvoted to hell and argued with by the people who don’t. If you don’t agree with what’s happening, you’ll be a little less downvoted but probably still sit on controversial, and have people who do arguing with you. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Aussie internet community this divided and aggressive about things bsfore
Jesus Christ everyone on r/Melbourne is losing their fucking shit. It’s like a gigantic mess of everyone going off at everyone else. It’s horrible.
GIANTTTTTTTTT
I tried to yoink my avatar off reddit, but it didn’t really work…
It looks like someone bonked me on the head then took a knife to half my antenna thing :(
I’d just like to say that I appreciate your stance on open registration and making things as uncomplicated as possible. I signed up for a Beehaw account before this even happened, but I did find having to explain myself and justify my presence a little confusing. I also signed up for a discuss.tchncs.de account and I was so confused and thought their website was broken because once I clicked sign up, it didn’t do anything. Just span around in a circle. It wasn’t until I checked my email that I realised it wanted me to confirm my email. Here, things did just work. No complications, just entered my name, email and password, clicked sign up, and I was done! I guess you could say… shit just works on sh.itjust.works
I’ve seen some recent posts here about deleting Reddit accounts. If you do decide to, please consider archiving your user page and any posts you particularly enjoyed onto the Wayback Machine. I’ve deleted many accounts in my time, and trust me, you’ll likely feel nostalgic one day and want to go reminiscing. Or, you’ll want to link to that one really well-thought-out argument you made one time in a future conversation. A lot easier to do when there’s an easily accessible archive you can just access whenever you want.
I mean, you’re not necessarily wrong, but for some people that is kind of just the appeal. It’s very obviously targetted at a very niche group of people, and if you’re not in that, of course you’ll dislike it
