Agreed, I can’t see the attraction of this painting.

On looking it up it sold for over £91,000 at Christie’s and I can’t see why.

It’s a view from a window in Boulogne and the French tricolour on the right hand side is the wrong way round, with the red portion on flagpole side instead of the blue?

Just such a trivial mistake to make and sums up the painting for me as sloppy and badly executed.

Basically, season 1 of Silo tv show takes you to halfway through book 1, so there’s a helluva lot of story still to come if Apple really commit to adapting the full trilogy.

There’s enough changes in the tv show adaptation to let you enjoy the books but still enjoy the tv show in my opinion.

Silo was terrific. Have you read the trilogy it’s based on? It’s excellent and really expands on the story.

I wouldn’t say budget version but in this picture I can see a resemblance.

The Royal Marines and Commando training is amongst the toughest in the world and produces elite fighting units.

If 1000 Ukrainians have passed that training then Russia is going to have a very bad time soon.
