    Outside meat can’t do that same thing.

    I mean, have you had basic biology? Yes it can. If it didn’t, animals wouldn’t survive, full stop. There are several redundancies in biology that prevent things like prions from building up, firstly, that if they do, the organism can no longer function (even if its cells continue to reproduce), and it dies. Its one of the reasons the diseases are so rare.
