Exciting news for who? Only the site owner is excited that a free resource now requires a subscription

Any service that is subscription based is dead to me. I’ve reached my breaking point.
Subscription based services are okay. You pay for water, electricity, maybe a gym membership…
What’s not okay is that they paint it as “exciting news!”

Water and electricity are not subscription based.
Do you not make a monthly payment for water and power? If not, then where do you live so that I move there?
There’s a difference between paying for usage and paying for access.
Although with all the fees added, most of what you pay isn’t even usage anymore…
Water should not be profit driven.
You’re right. I guess I meant to say water distribution services. Utilities.
