Everything works in mice is the saying, but hopefully it will help us getting anti aging treatments to humans in the near future (too)!

But only ones who will get the treatment and can afford it. I heard Bezo puts lots of money into this.

Nah, all that has been debunked. Initial treatments might be expensive but quickly pharma would gain selling it to literally everyone.

Governments will also catch up, democratically or not, who would not have less sick people?

It’s not to keep old people alive, it’s to make people stay healthy.

Now think about it and tell me why that is bad.

What do you think anti-aging means?

Why do you think people die of natural causes?

We have a finite amount of resources, and we’re already struggling with supporting the global population as it is.

Not to mention my generation and younger are already screwed when it comes to social security. I suppose since people will be “younger” longer, we can push the retirement age to 100 to make up for that 🙄

Anti aging = repairing of the damage done by metabolism over time.

Natural causes? So you don’t take medications when you’re sick because it’s not natural?

Overpopulation is also debunked, as education grows and the liberation of woman we actually don’t have population growth any more.

Our finite amount of resources is more than enough, it’s not correctly distributed. I don’t know why back pain and artherosclerosis will help with that.

If you get the choice to be healthy, and work more, then you should probably try to build a better society, and not just slack off because “nothing matters”. I mean if we all can live long healthy lives, even the rich and powerful must take care of the planet and so on.

And again, romanticing aging is so stupid, who wants to have brain fog and pain? Who wants loved ones to wither and die?

I mean death is the only way we can get rid of some bastards in government with antiquated views, it would become problematic if they could live even longer.

So we all live in good democracies now because people die? I mean we have been doing it for an awful lot of time, like forever.

When Putin or Kim dies, will the people fill the power vacuum?

        I don’t think so.

There are treatments so expensive that only rich people from developed countries can afford to have them.

Yeah the first mobile phones were stupidly expensive too. Treatments get cheaper over time.

I’m not saying it’s a just system for poor countries and the USA, but that’s a societal problem and it won’t get better if we don’t create treatments that can benefit everyone.
