They don’t admit to having real estate investments so we’re sort of forced to assume they’re just control freaks who want to use workplaces to satisfy their megalomania kink.
They love each having their little fiefdoms to lord over.
When they stretch harder they just blame the war/immigrants/politics/weather. When there’s some slack it’s because of the company’s tireless work at improving everyone’s life. Until it’s time to stretch again.
That’s the plan. Transfer the wealth to those that don’t need it
