However, I felt kinda uneasy to read about privacy and data collection and then seeing Google Voice being proposed as VoIP solution… :/

Honestly, Google has gotten so bad at keeping up with Voice that it wouldn’t shock me one bit if it didn’t have any sort of tracking on it.
