Why is her jaw dropping when this has been in the news for weeks? Has she been living under a rock, or just trying to remain deliberately ignorant of the situation? I find it difficult to believe anything from someone who fails to pay the tiniest fucking bit of attention to things.
I didn’t fully understand either tbh. I do know she is extraordinary insightful when it comes to issues on the other continent.
Average Murcans have no idea about any of this. Can confirm. Even the majority of educated Murcans only pay attention during an election and DGAF the rest of the year.
I know for sure they DGAF about Trump tariffs destroying other countries, but do average Americans care about destruction of their own country, or the undeniable fact that Trump is compromised with Russia?
I think they only GAF when they see the rising price of gas and food. So there’s hope. Krasnov knows this, and for someone that “doesn’t look at the markets” he sure as fuck backpedalled on tariffs pretty fast.
Not just any trade agreement, the one he took credit for negotiating and signed himself during his last presidency.
I think a large number of Americans don’t know, and it’s gotta be telegraphed for them. I think a lot of non-Americans were also thinking this is just another trade spat until recently.
Americans don’t think Canada or Mexico is a thing to care about at all. Too uneducated and poor to be bothered.
