Why are Some Words capitalized while Others Are not? It’s bugging me too hard.

When using title case, all words are capitalized, except for minor words (typically articles, short prepositions, and some conjunctions) that are not the first or last word of the title.
Kids don’t do this anymore for titles? I’m fucking old.
It’s a representation of the way Lonnie’s top half is six times wider than his bottom half.
