I like it, it’s not getting great reviews though. It is the kind of thing that makes you think, Maybe I should have read the book first? I think there are 11 books, including prequels that came later.
It’s visually stunning and I like the story. It’s surprisingly gender balanced for a book written in the 40s.
It’s hard to find a good pick of the dress, but this is the best I could do. It’s a Roman style breast plate with an empire (ha ha) waist full length dress, all in cobalt blue.
I can start to believe in a centuries-long cycle when men start wearing capes in parties again.
Cloaks and capes need brought back into general fashion, dammit. And the normalization of kilts.
We need more “swoosh”-y clothing. It’s one of the best parts of certain skirts and dresses, and needs to be set free so all can enjoy.
Been watching Foundation, REALLY into Day Empire’s pretty blue dress.
Can you link a photo? And is the Foundation good? Have it in my watchlist

I admire Asimov, read a bit of I, Robot to get a feel for his three laws of robots and his short story The Last Question was fantastic

Nice. Thanks for the effort, it is indeed very pretty
I would kill for kilts to be normalized. And dresses for men in general. What’s it gonna take for dresses to be manly, god damnit?
