    Until I was around 12 our family almost exclusively used powdered milk (mid-eighties). I don’t recall seeing liquid milk in plastic bags like this. Is it an eastern Canada or Ontario thing? In Alberta I don’t think it was common.

      It’s definitely a thing in ontario. I always heard it came around when we switched to metric.

    I prefer not to be needlessly cruel and violent to those among Earth’s gentlest, kindest creatures. If I can in any way get through my day without committing atrocity, I do so. Call it a quirk.
