The World War II-era “Simple Sabotage Field Manual” is full of steps that office workers can take to resist leadership.
Huh I wonder why that would be.
I wonder, could it just be a coincidence?
Probably just going to be one of those mysteries we will never solve.
this was to fight real fascism not just the people you don’t like.
Spotted the Nazi.
yes of course that is very smurt because doing this makes people take that very seriously. how does it feel to help nazis make that word have no impact anymore.
Okay, we spotted a stupid nazi I guess
Luckily for the rest of the species, this describes nearly all nazis.
Which is exactly why it’s relevant today.
Fascists don’t magically stop being fascists just because you happen to hate the same people they do.
they do if you delude the meaning of what a Fascists is. in that way we can all be Fascists because it does not mean anything anymore. and who do you think that helps. that’s what happens when you play with the meaning of words they become meaningless.
we can all be Fascists because it does not mean anything anymore.
…oh, but it does…
What do you think “fascism” means?
if you mean in current day people i disagree with .that is what it means now. the real meaning is fucked now because lefty commie fucks have been trowing that word around like candy. its the definition of The Boy Who Cried Wolf.
That is not what I asked. You’re saying it’s being used incorrectly, which means you have a definition in mind which isn’t being met. What is that definition?
the definition of fascism.
The Encyclopaedia Britannica definition?
“Although fascist parties and movements differed significantly from one another, they had many characteristics in common, including extreme militaristic nationalism, contempt for electoral democracy and political and cultural liberalism, a belief in natural social hierarchy and the rule of elites, and the desire to create a Volksgemeinschaft (German: “people’s community”), in which individual interests would be subordinated to the good of the nation.”
Or maybe the Webster’s Dictionary definition?
"a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition”
Because by those definitions “fascism” is not being used incorrectly.
If you have an alternate definition which supports your claim, you’ll need to provide it yourself.
Right, but in the case of the current US and the current administration, the term is accurate.
Fascism is a far-right (check) political ideology characterized by authoritarianism (check), extreme nationalism (check), and the suppression of opposition (check), often led by a dictatorial leader (check). It emphasizes the subordination of individual interests to the perceived good of the nation or race (check) and typically involves a centralized autocratic government (check).
you just say that because your not politically aligned with the current administration. you would support all of this if it was your side doing it and you would be a lot more rigid and forgiving in your definition of Fascists for them. for your political opponents a very broad definition of fascism. for the side you Aline with a very narrow rigid definition of fascism to be lot more forgiving. calling people fascists is just a political game that most people eye roll at now. it has lost all its effect its politically meaningless the only thing it does now is show your a lefty or a communist. and people eye roll at that to.
It’s really sort of astonishing that every single thing you said here is wrong. And mostly misspelled to boot.
