Why is the straw all over the platform.
Do those people walk around on a bed of straw everywhere, like royalty with rose petals?
Which one of them walks in front and throws the straw down?

Or are they just taking a supply of straw with them from the ships hold and no one had a way to bale it?
Why couldn’t they bale the straw, was that technology lost to the sands of time?
The ancient art of containing straw is one of the 25th centuries greatest mysteries.

“Transporter room: 5 people, 10 objects, two goats, and approximately 50,000 strands of hay to beam aboard.”

      “Energize.”

They’re like the Zerg, just with straw instead of the creep. It spreads wherever they go and they can’t survive long without it.

Oh that’s the easy part. That guy that looked at my wife while we were eating the other night? It gets teleported to his cabin.

“Hey, remember that racist episode with women-stealing space africans?” “Yeah.” “Let’s make more of that.”

It’s one of my favorite episodes because of that, are you guys actually offended by it? I always felt it was just a humorous episode with a very endearing stereotype.

Not offended, just sore eyeballs from all the eyerolls this episode causes.

Mine too! I don’t understand why people don’t like it.

Not to mention it is believable. Yeah, maybe some things are too much but those are tools used to create emotion.

Not the lest that Brenna Odell was my childhood crush.

I just through it in the pile with Code of Honor as an episode that should have been TOS. Honestly, S1 of TNG can be pretty rough.

These first season episodes are basically TOS “The Next Phase”. I think they were hold overs from the 60s TOS series or were written for the failed reboot of the series after TMP.

The only screenshot of Colm Meaney that surpasses this is when he shouts “Bollocks” on DS9
