Full disclosure, I work with a few soil scientists and I now understand how critical it is that we know the potential of the land if we’re relying on it to produce ag or to be used as rangeland.

Soil science is dope as hell and extremely underappreciated.
Back in the day (1999?) I loosely helped with some basic stuff on the NSCSS website on a volunteer basis. I didn’t realize they rolled into the larger SSSA in 2011.
