Among some Jewish-American producers, agents and executives there’s a sense that — even if the V.P. pick was the result of electoral calculations — those calculations come with baked-in antisemitic assumptions about the electorate.

Removed, civility.
How? Sad that you’d rather protect a bullshit article. Her husband IS a Jew.
PS> Your only rule on civility is #3 and I didn’t say jack-shit about the user…
You called the other user a dumbass. Do not attack other users.
Here’s your modlog:

No, I called the author of the article a dumbass… I didn’t say anything to the user.

Thank you for sharing the mod-log… I see I’ve had three comments removed here.
That wasn’t even my post, so rule 1? WTF?
Meh… borderline uncivil, but also factual. They were spamming the same thing on multiple threads.
Aha! The “Rule 1” comment was in AskLemmy:
"1) Be nice and; have fun
Doxxing, trolling, sealioning, racism, and toxicity are not welcomed in AskLemmy. Remember what your mother said: if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. In addition, the site-wide Lemmy.world terms of service also apply here. Please familiarize yourself with them"
I didn’t violate that at all… I was calling out the inherent racism and sexism in the system. Did I really have to put a /s on there to make it obvious?
Accusations of bots/trolls falls under the civility guidelines. Not sure about the rule 1 one.
The rule is to not to accuse them of being a bot (I didn’t) and not accusing of them being paid (I didn’t).
