There were a number of stabbing attacks, I think the most notable of them was a 2014 incident in Kunming, which claimed the lives of over 30 people (I won’t link to USA-sian sources, they even downplay the nature of the attacks with scare quotes around ‘terrorism’ or say ‘China claims is a terrorist attack’)
