RetroDECK is one of the simplest options for getting various emulators set up on Steam Deck and Desktop Linux, and the latest release has lots of fun improvements to check out.

EmuDeck has non-free builds, supports streaming services. Can add individual games to Steam library.
RetroDeck is fully FOSS, focuses on emulation, I also found it easier to setup. Can’t add individual games to Steam library.
