This is why I’m cynical of Labour

    I have no idea what Labour stand for other than supporting the bombing of Gaza and Yemen and not opposing the Tories on anything specific.

      I mean, I’m really not sure that we can say Labour support the bombing of Gaza. Had Starmer come out and condemned the bombing he would have been called anti-Semitic and the Tories would have repeated that constantly until the election

        I think it’s pretty clear by now that “anti-semetic” holds no water. When Israel are abusing the term so blatantly whilst committing war crimes I don’t think even the Tories want to be seen as supporting them.

          I think they would still happily use it to beat the labour party with and attempt to link Starmer back to Corbyn in people’s minds

        Yes they would have but as Israel’s genocide is plain for all to see it would have had less impact. By being scared off he has ironically kept anti-semitism more potent a weapon to beat Labour with. He’s a fucking useless strategist
