Israel has previously denied harvesting organs from dead Palestinians without the consent of families, calling such accusations “antisemitic”.

Ever notice how anytime someone accuses Israel of something, Israel says it’s antisemitic?

Their accusations mean nothing, because at this point the Israeli government just reflexively says it.

Isn’t organ harvesting a really difficult process that needs to be handled quickly and shortly after death?

I wouldn’t put it past Israel, given their behavior, but this seems initially implausible to me, as someone with limited knowledge of the medical process.

Kidneys can last like a day and a half outside the body…

But Israel is taking a lot of living prisoners, and returning bodies that are missing organs which coincidentally are almost always ones that are transplantable…

It’s fine to be cautious, but what other rationale would you use for those organs being missing from returned bodies?

I don’t think Israel has even given an alternative, but I may have missed it

But the article here doesn’t say anything about living prisoners. It only mentions corpses that were taken from hospitals then returned, plus an accusation that they are digging up graves. Both of which would be long expired.

If you think that’s all it talks about, you didn’t read till the end…

A controversial Israeli television investigation in 2014 included confessions from high-ranking officials that skin was taken from the bodies of dead Palestinians and African workers to treat Israelis, such as soldiers with burn injuries.

In it, the director of the Israeli Skin Bank revealed the country’s reserve of “human skin” reached 17 square meters - a huge number relative to Israel’s population.

It goes in Israel’s history of taking organs from non Israelis, even foreign workers.

Sounds like something an antisemite would say!

      Blood libel is anti-Semitic.

Just because you don’t understand these code phrases or dog whistles doesn’t mean anti-Semitism doesn’t exist.

        So?

What does that have to do with organ trafficking?

There’s evidence of if it happening, Israel gives no other explanation for missing organs…

But we can’t question it because a thousand years ago idiots thought Jewish people were vampires?

There’s no logic in there bud

Then which act (or accusation thereof) is not antisemitic in that logic?

Looting or stealing land? Totally the cliche of the grabby jew.

Murder? Totally the well poison legend.

If everything is antisemitic, nothing is. And I’m really baffled how many people (you obviously included) don’t see how that logic is extremely dangerous to the people they claim they want to protect.

This specific case is most likely a hoax, but calling the allegations antisemitic, just on the basis of whatever bad excuse for a reason you presented here, is just as dangerous as just believing the hoax.

In what world would this make sense? People really need to think these things through.

The NGO claimed it has documented Israeli forces confiscating dozens of dead bodies from the al-Shifa and Indonesian hospitals in northern Gaza, alongside others in the south.

Medical professionals reportedly found vital organs, such as livers, kidneys and hearts, alongside cochleas and corneas, were missing, which the Euro-Med Monitor called “evidence” of potential organ theft.

After death you have 4~ hours to harvest a heart. So they’re claiming someone died in Gaza, they got the body to the morgue then Israel captured the hospital, took the bodies and fast choppered them to another medical center, to harvest a heart… all within 4 hours of death.

And you have to consider that Israel controls Palestine’s birth register and ID card issuance. Palestinians can’t be desaparecidos if they never appeared (on the books) in the first place, right?

I’m not sure but other tissues within the heart, like valves, might last longer. Also many parts can be used for research, not necessarily transplantation.

In the early 00s there were a lot of reports in alternative media about Israelis eating babies.
This seems like an extension of that.

Israel should be abolished, but we don’t need to make up things to make that argument

I thought them through, and yes, whichever side is genociding the other should be abolished, yes. Not saying there can’t be something after that plays nicely with all ethnicities in the region.

I find this difficult to believe since I assume their dogma would be that a Palestinian organ in an Israeli body would be immediate disqualification for heaven. If tattoos are considered self-mutilation, a Hamas heart must be worse.
