I’m pretty sure that doesn’t work for web apps though, since they’re not actual apps the “open app” shortcut doesn’t work. You can use “open url”, but that opens it in the browser.
I don’t know if there can even be such a thing as different icons for web apps on iOS.
Some time ago you could actually change the icon to whatever you wanted, but that’s no longer possible afaik.

As of now, there is no way for pwas to rebrand themselves on IOS. The only way is to reinstall - and lose local data.
