Get a passport if you don’t have one already
Get in shape – you are either going to be running or engaging in combat so be sure you’re physically fit enough to do it
Get a gun if you don’t have one and learn how to use it properly
Build an emergency fund – even if it’s just a couple hundred dollars, that’s enough for a bus ticket to a safe state or out of the country entirely
Have an exit plan with your loved ones and make sure you have somewhere to go
